New novella, new covers, new series title, new book coming!
There’s so much shiny newness in that headline that I’m practically glitter. Here’s a sparkly rundown:
1. My new novella is all yours when you sign up for my newsletter. Click here to get it. I think you’re going to like it a lot! (The novella, that is. But my newsletter is fabulous too.) It’s the perfect length for a long pre-bedtime story. And the steamy bits are right up front, so if you’re into that, you get the good stuff quick.
2. The mages got new covers! See all my pretties! Do you have a favorite? Tell me yours in the comments, and I’ll tell you mine.
3. The new series title, Mages and Mavericks, fits the books so perfectly. Almost every one of my characters does things their own way, not entirely conforming to society’s expectations. They’re all walking around with their little rebel hearts beating out their own song.
4. There’s a new Mages book brewing inside my laptop. Another edit or two and it’s off to my editor! You can expect a new full-length novel later this year. Finally!
5. The last of my news is a personal one: we moved California! That was not on my lifetime bingo card, friends. I thought I’d live in my metro-Atlanta house forever. I’d pictured my grandkids visiting. I’d imagined hosting delightful holidays, gathering around our giant table and then relaxing on the porch. I could tell you so many things about making this move, but the number one thing I always share first is about actually getting here. Wow! Driving across the United States is an amazing experience. The landscape changes so much. I wish everyone in the US could see it for themselves. I am now a road trip aficionado. (Another bingo card square that I never thought I’d fill in!) (The second thing I tell people is that, holy cow, there are very few bugs here. You can leave your door open, and NO PALMETTO BUGS will walk in, hide in your kitchen cabinets or between your sheets, and wait to scare you and disgust you half to death. What a glorious place!)
